Arnaud Démare’s Lapierre Bike size 2021

This is Arnaud Démare’s Lapierre Bike size 2021.

The talented French sprinter is racing on the new Lapierre Aircode DRS 2021 for the team Groupama FDJ.

The Lapierre Aircode DRS 2021 has been seen on some spring races before the 2020 season got into a forced break. The bike was ready for official release and the Lapierre’s managers did hold on the official release until racing resumed. The Aircode DRS 2021 finally has been officially released in September 2020.

The geometry has changed slightly compare to its predecessor. It got a more aggressive geometry with a steeper seat angle and longer reach. Yet the comfort has been enhanced at the same time with the seat stays meeting the top tube. Lapierre claims this does improve the comfort by 12%. I am not sure how to measure this, but any form of comfort is welcome.

    Peter Sagan’s Tarmac SL7 2021 Bike Size

This is Peter Sagan’s Tarmac SL7 2021 Bike Size as he races during 2020 and 2021 season with Bora – Hangrohe team.

The Whole team rides the 2021 Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL7 since December 2019 however the bike is officially retail stores since summer 2020. The Tarmac SL7 does replace the Tarmac SL6 and… Peter’s beloved Venge too.

To make it short, the Tarmac SL7 is taking the best of both models, lightweight Tarmac SL6 and Aero Venge. The Tarmac SL7 is presented as a “Do-it-all”, more aero than the SL6 and yet still light and stiff enough to suit the climbers and sprinters of the team.

It is also making logistic more simple for Bora – Hansgrohe team to carry only one time of bike for the whole team, it does simplify bike swaps on the go as long as size is close enough to fit the needy rider.

Giro d’Italia 2020’s Team Bikes and Riders Start list

This post is dedicated to the Giro d’Italia 2020’s Team Bikes and Riders Start list. By clicking on each name you can see the rider’s bike size and specification.

I am trying to complete the information on this page as an ongoing basis. Keep coming back to this page and you will eventually find the complete Giro d’Italia peloton’s bikes size and specification.

The 2020 Giro d’Italia edition start has been delayed and is held from October 3rd till 25th included. The mountain stages in the 3rd week might have snow at this time of the year.

I think the Giro d’Italia is usually harder and the most spectacular of the 3 Grand Tours. Most of the stages are designed to initiate riders action and this year race keeps up with Giro’s Spirit.

  • Maximilian Schachmann’s Tarmac SL7 Bike Size 2021

    Maximilian Schachmann’s Tarmac SL7 Bike Size 2021

This is Maximilian Schachmann’s Tarmac SL7 Bike Size 2021 technical review. The German rider races the season for the Team Bora Hansgrohe with a contract until 2024.

Maximilian is an excellent time trial racer and equally a great climber making him a good candidate for a General Classification (GC) podium finish. He did win the 2020 Paris-Nice and and finished second on the 2020 Volta ao Algarve em Bicicleta. These are already great introduction lines on a profile and I am sure Maximilian will add up to the list of podiums.

He is 1m83 tall and weights 70kg at optimum form. This can be translated as being at the fine line of lightweight and powerful for this height.

For these reason Maximilian Schachmann’s Tarmac SL7 Bike Size 2021 reflect the rider style from the selection of the frame model, size and components specification.
